10 questions you should ask before hiring an attorney
You want to look for an experienced attorney who has spent a long time practicing law, presenting their cases at trial, and who has a primary focus in personal injury cases (as they will be more familiar with the law surrounding it). You also want one who has the time and resources to dedicate to your case and your needs. Also, keep in mind that if the attorney you hire is not meeting or exceeding your standards, you are allowed to fire them and replace them with a better alternative.
Every potential client’s initial consultation is with the attorney that will be handling their case. Once you become a client of our firm, you will always have direct access to your attorney.
It is important to know if you are hiring a lawyer who only settles cases. Although, many cases are settled outside of the courtroom, you need to know that not only will your attorney take it to trial if needed but also that they are capable of handling the stresses of the courtroom.
